Since the beginning of the 2018-19 season, EU sugar exports - all types - have dropped 41.5% totaling 1,158,014 t by the end of March 2019.
Meanwhile, FOB export sugar prices averaged 344 EUR/t, a level almost identical to the one recorded in January and February 2019.
From a geographical point of view, Israel and Egypt remain the 2 major destinations for European sugar exports, accounting for 34% of total volumes so far this season.
