Thai domestic white sugar sales recorded over Q3 2020 totaled 0.64 Mt : up 24% from the previous quarter and marginally down from a year ago.
This recovery is largely due to a significant rise in direct consumption sales (+35%). Industrial sales also progressed (+9%) but at a much lower pace.

However, based on our latest projections and despite anticipations of significant volumes being sold over Q4 2020, domestic white sugar sales are expected to total a maximum of 2.41 Mt for the whole of 2020: down 3% from a year ago.
